My wife keeps a pet possum in her trailor, the other day my friend cledius and me went over there to her trailor so he could buy some food stamps. anyways we got in an the possum went crazy it started bitin cledius all over the feet and shins, then it tried to bite me, so i kicked it outside and it landed in a trap. cledius was all bit up and then he wasnt able to buy alll the food stamps cuse she got shorted or something.
What is the laws against keepin a pet possum? Can I sue over this? can cledius sue? whats the laws on them possums?

no way they bite carry diseases and cant live long w. out there mother and i think it is against the law sorry!

I remember a friend of mine found a mom that had been hit by a car and the baby possum was walking around. She took it home and carried it every where with her in a purse like it would be when its in its mom's pouch. As for the food I'm not positive but I think she fed it kitten formula out of a bottle. When it got older she let it start to go outside and eventually it found a mate and went along its way. Good luck!!

If this is a joke it's hilarious!!!
If it's serious, (sad if it is, but I know there are people like this out there) they can be nice pets if they are raised from infants, in this case her possum is not nice, it should be set free. You can't sue, because it didn't get you, Cledius can. However, it is illegal to buy food stamps from another person.

it's not safe to have a possum, and why is everybody so sue happy? Can't u go through life without sueing somebody. He needs to go to the doctor

My, my you and Meatsicklez are certainly law suit happy - another day, another proposed law suit. Even if this were true, it would seem that you wouldn't want to bring too much attention to yourselves since you are standing on the wrong side of the law with animal abuse and welfare fraud, and it probably is illegal to be in custody of a possum.
AND, Mr. Looney-Tunes, if you are in a community property state, you would be suing yourself - plus, since you say you are on welfare, you can't get blood from a turnip!

Nah, just put ole' cledius and the possum in a pen and let em fight it out.
If ole' cledius wins, then have possum stew for supper.

It is against the law to keep one of those creepy bast. as a pet. You can be ticketed or go to jail. Release him very far away or the cops will show up if him nasty friends don't!
