if you have an air compressor, you can buy an air spray gun at home depo for under 75 dollars,
or you can buy rough surface rollers and roll it on, just make sure to keep your roller loaded.

Airless Sprayer then back roll with a high knapp roller. You must spray from many directions to hit all the crevices in the stucco. Back rolling will push the paint into the crevices.

It's labor intensive, but with a brush by hand is best, unless you can use a sprayer. If a sprayer won't work for you, use a brush. I have always had problems with getting a roller to paint sufficiently inside the stucco's pits and grooves.

If you can spray, spray it, but you must work in all direction to cover, same if you Roll, which is the next best option. Stucco has many faces.

You may try a garden sprayer. You will need to thin your paint before starting. You may also need to brush it in after spraying it on.

I think there are rollers made especially for that. Don't know how well they work.
