Thomson & Bourssa Unification Theory have supeceded Grand unification?

The 21st Century break thru to what Einstein was working his life away to find out?

At the moment there are only press releases [1] which indicate only that Thomson and Bourassa have an excellent publicist. This is not typically how science is done. At the moment there is no paper or anyway of checking their claims.

Given that the theory is called Quantum Aether Dynamics it does not bode well for superseding anything. I imagine that Einstein received many papers claiming the existence of an Aether that he himself had made irrelevant with Special Relativity. Similar to the flat earth societies, there has continued to be those who believe in aether theories[2].

Though it could be legitimate it has all the markings of another crack pot theory. Anyone remember the claims of another pair - Fleischmann and Pons[3] brought to use via press releases[3]?

Really don't want to disparage Thomson and Bourassa but they should have made their theory available before issuing a press release.
