Is the U.S.afraid of North Korea? If they are not, let them overrun the place like they did Iraq which didn't even have a single weapon of Mass destruction, they took the pains to topple the government, sent in an occupying force and have altered the lives of Iraq's people for ever.North Korea does not hide the fact that they have weapons of human annihilation, they even tested some missiles a few weeks ago.So why treat them ( North Korea) with kid's gloves?is it because there is no gas in North Korea?

The reason we attacked Iraq is that the Bush administration knew they were unarmed. Bush attempted to go in and whip a bunch of unarmed citizens into submission, yell victory over terrorism and declare himself "the great liberator". He didn't count on the strength of human will. We may have killed many mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, but the will of the Iraqi citizens is very much like our own.... unbreakable.
Hitler and countless other warlords have tried to force others to submit to them, but very few have had lasting success. In this case, once again, Mr. Bush has shown us what a failure his "chickenhawk diplomacy", truly is. This time, he's brought down the good name of our once great country.

The reason we can't go into North Korea is, they REALLY DO have weapons. We won't fight a well armed enemy. We're only gunning for the unarmed.

Mr. Bush's lack of leadership has left our country with weak defenses at home and our brave young men are forced to defend a country that not only doesn't want to be "Americanized" but hates everything about us. This is largely due to the financial raping these countries have received by the Texas Oil Cartel (these are the guys who pull Bush's strings).

It's because there is too much a stake with N. Korea. Why do you think the UN is not backing up their sanctions against them? Because they know that a conflict with N Korea can end up escalating faster then anything. Not so much because of Chine, which is a popular misconception. China is just as aggravated by N Korea stirring up tension. They are trying to do things on the sly and Kim is just poking hornets nests because he is psycho. The N Korean military was supported by Russia years ago. As a matter of fact, the whole military is made up of mostly antiquated weapons they bought from Russia. They only thing they have to be afraid of is the possibility of long range nukes. The real problem is, that if anyone tries to do anything, they will try to knock Japan off the face of the earth first. If that happens, no matter what the outcome of the war, the global economy goes down the crapper. Everything else is just politics as usual mixed in with a few psychotic leaders. N. Korea's government is the bad ones. The people of that country would love to have a taste of liberty and free enterprise, but they are stuck under an egotistical nut job who would love to start a war because he thinks he could end up ruling Asia...

Your question sounded somewhat reasonable, until you spouted off about Iraq not having weapons of mass destruction.

The current and popular belief amongst many people is that WMD were flown to syria, from Iraq, days before the actual invasion took place. Liberals will stick to their guns however, they believe the more they can discredit the current administration will help them garner votes, come election time.

N. Korea is not something anyone wishes to toy with, militarily. They will step over the wrong line one of these days. That misstep will undoubtedly provoke nuclear annihilation on N.Korea.

Personally, I believe N.Korea is a Chinese puppet that will do China's bidding. On the surface China acts as though it is in support of the policies of S.Korea, Japan, USA, Australia, but in reality, I believe they are orchestrating the activities of N.Korea, the same way Russia is orchestrating the activities of syria and iran.

North Korea is covered in mountains and makes for a difficult war. Also, they have nukes now and are working with other countries who have missiles that will travel farther.
They can send missiles currently into Japan and they can definately send them into South Korea.
Are you ready to go to war? You would be drafted as soon as you graduate high school The last Korean war was hell. Talk to anyone who went and they will tell you just how bad it was.
Also, Chinese and Russia back North Korea so we would most likely have to fight them as well.
You have to think things clear out before you plan a war.

One could say that we won the war in Iraq but, winning the peace has not proved so easy to do. There is a good probability that North Korea has nuclear weapons and in a war would use them. The potential involvement of China is a great concern.
This question requires a complex answer that one wonders if you have the intellect to understand.

It's because of three things. One, we aren't dependent on North Korea for anything (such as oil). Two, we so spread thin because of Iraq, we couldn't do anything if we wanted to, unless they were to re-start the draft. Three, Bush don't mess with governments who could retalliate. He's more like the bully in elementary school, picking on the smaller, weaker kids.

No ... if the US invades North Korea it will anger the Chinese who would be just as uneasy with US military presence in North Korea as the insurgence are with the US presence in Iraq; the results would be far more devastating.

Because North Korea is not Iraq. It is a different situation requiring different tactics. I'm sorry you can't see the differences.
