i mean shortcomings in there thinking...things that they may have missed out...limitations in their thought...perhaps due to their character defects or lack of true objective unhindered thinking

"A Short History of Western Philosophy" by Bertrand Russell will probably give you what you need (except for Wittgenstein who was a contemporary of Russell's).

All right.
Let's start with obvious:
Wittgenstein's entire program(math being real) got derailed by Godel's incompleteness theorem[1].

Others are less obvious, but here is my opinion:
1. Plato - assuming that the world of forms is real without evidence, also predicting that the prefect state is run by "philosophers kings"[2]
2. Kant -- his idea of synthetic a priori is pure wishful thinking.[3]

The only fault they could have is if they didn't believe in Jesus... That is if they did't accept him as their Lord and Savior!!!!
