Unfortunately, racism still blights our country and many other areas of the world as well. Of course, it is certainly more evident in certain, typically rural areas. This is probably due to level of education and upbringing. As there are more interracial marriages and mixed-race children, and as the influence of the older generations that were around during segregation and the civil rights movements of the 20th century weakens, I think we will see an improvement. I think it will be many generations before the injustices of racism can be completely irradicated, though. The truly sad thing is that some religion-based racisms/prejudices may never disappear.

As long as there are organizations like ,The united ***** college fund , Afro American police officers association, and many others that seem to only offer help to people of their own race there will always be racism. Racism will never go away as long as people base any decision on race. Racism will also continue to exist as long as there is money to be had by those that claim to be discriminated against. If I was treated wrong there would not be any amount of compensation that would make it right yet people still accept payment for racism. Many Indians, (Native Americans) are very racist for the simple fact that if they keep up a certain percentage of blood alive they will get to send their children to college for free, while many more qualified people are turned away simply because they are not Native American.

Racism will always be here until we are all just people, not white people and black people, not red people and yellow people but just people. Yes racism is still alive and well.

yes people are treated differently because of the way they look, and yes, it has been going on for years and years, and will probably continue for many more years. The best thing we can do is change our outlook on others, and treat each other the way we want to be treated.

our own government will allow people from other countries to come to America, open a business, and not have to pay taxes, then when it comes time to pay taxes to the country that helped them get started , they give the business to another person in the family and cheat the USA out of taxes again. But an American citizen can't get the same deal because of racial discrimination.

Yes is does exists and will all ways as lone as we are under the control of the machine or the collective which ever you prefer. That is the way they keep us in check. The more you fight against each other the less you will think about what they are doing to us. See racism is a small thing compared to the price of gas not to say that racism is small but if you take time to stop fighting about the small stuff we could focus what is really going on in this world. Racism is a big part, but the big pic is they want to keep us a part. United we stand divided we fall and we are falling fast.

Unfortunately, that answer is yes. Racism occurs everywhere in the world, and we need to end that. An end of racism may help bring world peace. Lets stop criticizing certain groups of people, religion, and ideas and respect them.

Sure- people still hate fat people. People still hate different colored/different facial structures/different body structure (women with boobs vs women with no boobs)

If the government- both Republicans and Democrats have their way, they'll make everyone equal- and if nobody is ahead of everyone else, the only people who will be ahead is those who have the guns and bombs.

We're heading towards a one world government, we're heading towards a militant police state, and historically perspective, we're about where Nazi Germany was about 1932, give or take a bit

Absolutely. The KKK, neo-nazis, and all kinds of white power groups still exist. On the other side, non-whites sometimes hate whites as well. But, it's not as rampant as it has been in the past.
