no way, almost all of america speaks english as their primary language, or they at least know it, if those people wnat to come to this country and do our hard work and that, im fine with that, but i really dont think we should all have to learn spanish just because some silly little mexicans (no offense to any reading this) decide to impose their language and their culture on us.
but it would be beneficiary for students to be encoraged to take spanish as a second language class

As a first language no, because not only is it the official language in America, but English is also considered THE international language. At all world meetings translators and interpreters translate to English for those who cannot speak the language fluently. It could however be introduced as a second language considering that it is an important language and probably the best known after English.

This is America. The first American language, officially, was English. That it should remain.
America united its territories and did so using this language.
Get over trying to make this a Mexican state. We won't let that happen. Why leave your country that "is so bad" and come here for better then try to change this country to be what you left?

Maybe America should adopt Mexicos immigration laws...

Not in this lifetime. How about all you Spanish speakers learn English like most other immigrants have done as a way to assimilate into their new American life?
