There are some tests (first response & ept) that you can check 5 days before you miss your period. I took one 5 days before & there was a VERY VERY faint line - - but obviously it doesn't matter cuz I am 37 weeks pregnant and counting!

This is an example: If your period is suppose to come on 15th and you take a early pregnancy test two weeks later it will show if your pregnant or not.
I speak from experience, I used the (First Response) and it said that I was positive. I did not miss my period but the only reason I took the test so early, I started to feel really sick..
I am now 27 weeks pregnant (6 months)...

I got some of the ones that say on the box they will work up to 5 days before your period - nothing. Tried again the first and second days after my missed period - nothing. It wasn't until the third day that I got a positive test. It all depends on the levels of the hormones in your urine. If you get a negative test and you still think you're pregnant, try again a few days or a week later, you may have enough of the hormone in your body by then to show up on the test.

first response pregnancy test can show 10 days after conception. Most of the other ones are 6 days after your missed period.

some tests like first responce can tell you up to 5 days before your missed period.
(i also find that dipping the stick in a cup (for a quik count of 5) instead of peeing on it works better! just remember not to use that cup for drinking anymore!)(and first morning / first wake up pee is best)

6 am ? (Sorry couldn't help myself) There is one that can tell within 10 days of conception but I can't think of the name of it. Check with a pharmacist.
