It is the same. Americans are blamed for nearly everything. We find it hard to find fault in much the same way as the citizens of the forementioned countries find fault in their own.

Ahem. "Its always the Muslims fault the Arabs fault the Russians fault the Chinese fault the Frenchs fault."
Do you mind if I edit your sentence? I thought not, because you are willing to accept fault when it applies to you.
"It is always the fault of the Muslims, the fault of the Arabs, the fault of the Russians, the fault of the Chinese, or the fault of the French."
Don't you feel better?

We don't have trouble finding fault, we just seem to be held to higher standards. Yet when others who do the same things you never hear about it. In Russia or China, or a muslim country you could never be open and express the fault you find. Look at China going after students who found fault with the government. They were shot, jailed, or killed.
It's easy to make a statement like that, easy to take a cheap shot like that. Yes it exists in all societies, but most supress the people.

It is the same way the world over humans need some one to blame when things are not going right. It is just the rest of the world places all blame on the US.

Your kidding right? Americans shoulder guilt better than anyone. We blame ourselves for everything. We hear the rest of the world say we are responsible for polluting the planet, raping the resources of poor third world countries, all the wars since 1776, plagues, famines, natural disasters of all types....and we say 'yeah, could be'. Can't be anyones fault but our own, here let us send you some money.

Hell, we have plenty of dirty linen and we have always aired it for the public to see. If we say it was someones fault, it is because of the evidence that points that way. We may not always be right but we always take a stand.

You've got to be kidding me. There are plenty of Americans that have nothing but bad things to say about America. Most people know that America isn't perfect, we're just tired of hearing certain people always blaming America.
