I would definitely say so. You never know what happens once you are there, and if you still don't like you can make a quick exit.

You said you would go. Do you not have any integrity? Just go, maybe being there will put you in the party mood. Tough it out for 2 hours and then just excuse yourself saying that you're not feeling very well. That would be the truth and you'd be filling your word.
I really can't stand people who say they are comming to a party then don't show...that's just inconsiderate and rude.

Yeah, you should go, even if it's just for a little while. If you get there and you still aren't in a party mood then politely excuse yourself and say you aren't feeling well. At least you showed up and made an attempt.
