I have green eyes, but every once in a while I hear someone say I have hazel eyes. If anyone can provide a link in their response with photos of hazel eyes, I would appreciate it. My daughter has very light brown eyes and people have told me that her eyes are hazel. I totally disagree. I find that black people say very light brown eyes are hazel, but white people say hazel eyes are just eyes that change color. Mine sometimes do change color. I was born with bright blue eyes that changed when I turned 3 years old to green. They still are blue on the outside with a burst of an amber color on the inside near the pupil. On a bright day they look bluish. On an overcast day, they look green. Just wondering what color exactly is a hazel eye.

I have hazel eyes. Everyone from a distance says my eyes are brown, but up close they are green. Hazel eyes are eyes that change between green and brown.
P.S. I don't know why, but baby eyes change colors many times before they set to one color. Usually that happens between age 2 and 3.

Hazel is usually used to describe eyes that contain elements of both green eyes and brown eyes, sometimes transitioning from green at the edges to brown around the pupil.
Pictures of all colors of eyes are here as well.

Man!! Nothing more attractive than a woman with green/hazel eyes, especially if she is either black or hispanic.
Hazel is a mix of colors - green[s], brown[s] and shades of blue

Hazel is usually used to describe eyes that contain elements of both green eyes and blue eyes, in rare cases, also containing gray or brown, sometimes transitioning from green at the edges to blue around the pupil, and light blue. Hazel eyes often change color depending on what the person is wearing (i.e. if the person is wearing green or purple, the eyes appear mostly green). They are commonly found in middle European countries such as the middle of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, south and middle of Poland, south and middle of Germany, north of France, Switzerland, north of Italy, Turkey, Slovenia and others.

Hazel eyes are definetely light brown. No other variant is possible."Hazel" comes from "hazelnuts", I hope you know what these are.Hazel eyes are supposed to have the colour of hazelnuts, which are obviously light brown.Cameleonic eyes are eyes that change colour.
