I like so many of them it is hard to choose, but I would have to say my favorite scene, even though not in the book is the arrival of the Elves at Helms Deep. I love every aspect of the scene, the music, the expressions of the men of Rohan, and the feeling of hope it gives you. Also the Elves costumes are very well put together and look very...well elvish.

The scene in the second film when Legalos is standing there shooting arrows while the horses are riding up behind him. He turns his head, and with one hand, swoops himself up on one of the horses, then keeps shooting arrows.

Everyone in the theater clapped on that one.

I also love Merry's (or was it Pippen) reaction when he first realizes he's sitting in a living tree.

Golum vs Schmeggel (mispellings on both)

In the last film,

when Frodo sees that Gandalf is back
When Arogon see Liv Tyler is there to celebrate him being crowned king
When that one lady says "I am no woman"

Oh ma days man i like the scene(getting to the end) where Frodo gives the book to his friend to finish. I thought it was quite inspiring seeing as he had written all da stuff and still never forgot to give his friend a share of the pages so that he could also write out his mind.

The very last minute of the very last scene at the end of Kings. It's when you know it's finally over.

i forgot which one it was but the part when sam was saying that him & frodo will be heros& kids will be asking thier parents to tell them how frodo saved the world

Frodo said something like " kids will say what about sam? frodo never could have made it with out him"

Sam said fordo to stop making fun of him but frodo said he wasn't making fun he was serious.

i like it cuz it make the veiwer realize frodo knew sam was a big help in saving middle earth

the other part i like is on the 2nd one,the monsters( sorry don't no what they're called) caught merry & ppipin. one of them wanted to eat the hobbits " he was like" we havent had anything to eat the 3 days but stinking bread. can't we eat their legs, they don't need them"

i liked it cuz it made me smile

My favorite scene when I first saw it... and it STILL is... is in LOTR, when Gandalf rides his cart into Hobbiton, and I thought "OMG that is EXACTLY what Hobbiton looks like! They are really going to do this right!"
