Most people in the UK today would have no idea if the Union Jack has a way round so it's hardly surprising some half-whit would run it upside down if it did have (which it does BTW, check the link below).
More patriotism should be taught in UK schools instead of forcing other religions down peoples throats. UK first, foreign studies second.........
A time will come when the UK flag will be changed and an Islam symbol will be prevalent.... god help us all........

Look at a picture of the Union Jack and tell me if it's possible to put it upside down! It's the same no matter which way you hang it.

Seeing as most answerers here dont know the Jack is the Naval Standard, the Union Flag is a different thing..and no, i dont think it should. We have a booming economy, highest employment levels in years, were the powerhouse of Europe..i think theirs still some good left in us Limeys

the flag can be upside down try stickin 2 union jacks together oposite sides ull see and i dnt think it really matter any ways and this country would do better and feel more safer with out muslims everyone who has terrorist attacked is a muslim seems to be a problem here and connection that will carry on with there faith no matter wat they say there religion says about terrorism u cant stop someone from makin choices and people are easily manipulated

i've got on no account seen any flag the different way up flying in a public place -- for some reason i presumed flying a flag the different way up became a misery call-- are is that what we desire a techniques????
