Does your son even want to go to dentist school? Is this what HE wants or what YOU want for him? That will be a major problem if you don't resolve it...

But.. if this is what your son truely wants... take it one step at a time... he's only 15, you don't need to plan his life out already. Start by getting him through High School... make sure he gets good grades, keeps his GPA up... gets involved in extracirriculur activities, because these will boost his college application
Next, he'll want to go to college... taking a pre-med major. He needs to keep the grades up here too. Also, try to get him involved in internships and get him involved in on campus research, if it is related to his field...
Then, he'llprobably have to take the MCAT, before applying for denstistry.

Good luck... and make sure your son is excited about this as your are!

1. Do some research on the Internet on Dentist Schools.

2. Write a letter to the Dentist Schools requesting some information about the school.

3. Take your son to the dentist so that he can interview him or her on becoming a dentist.

4. Hope for the absolute best.

Start by letting him finish high school and let him decide if he wants to be a dentist.

Probably by asking him if that's what he wants to do? At 15?
OK I once asked my dentist how he could spend all day looking into peoples' mouths and breathing their bad breath. He said it was better than being a gynecologist!

Start by finishing high school. Then, get a 4 year Bachelor's degree from a university. Then, think about going to medical or dental school.

By asking him what he wants to do. Now what you want him to do.

If this what he wants to do you can sit down with his high school counselor. I'de recommend getting in contact with Dental professionals as well to see what they recommend.

Otherwise, I'de ask your son what he is interested in. If he doesn't know it's OKAY. He's 15. Let him enjoy his childhood.
