What that pop-up is trying to tell you, is that the person that is broadcasting that song, and is letting you download it, does not have a license to be sending that song out. In other words, they are putting it out illegaly. The reason you probably keep getting these pop-ups, is because you have them turned on. Your Limewire is probably set to let you know if a song you are trying to download does not have a license. That can probably be easily turned off. Now, about continuing with the download, I would. I don't think it is illegal to download those songs from someone else. But do whatever you feel comfortable with. I hope I helped you understand this more! Good luck! :)

As said above, the pop up that you agree to, and continue downloading is a get out of jail free card for Limewire. If you get caugh with illegal downloads it's not Limewire's fault and you carry the can.

Becuase downloading songs is illegal, they are required to give a warning so that Limewire doesn't get in trouble and YOU do. It's like signing a contract, when you say download anyway, you are saying I do not want to pay for music. But don't worry nothing happens it's just in case you get caught, you just can't say "I didn't know it wasn't illegal"

Yes just carry on to download. This is probably just Limewire letting you know that the song is copyrighted. Ther might be an option somewhere to turn this off. Go to 'tools - options - searching - basic' and untick the license warning option.

I keep downloading them anyway. Every music I've downloaded, the pop up has appeared. I have a list of music. What if it's illegal and police come to our houses?
