Put a alarm on the car, lock the doors, pull up your seats on your car [ so the thief will waste his time trying too get in your car and steal it] and park the car where its hard for the thief to get too

that car is incrediably easy to boost best thing you can do is always park somewhere safe do not add a big stero sound system to it or expensive wheels don't add anything that says hey pick me over here to anybody lookin for some easy cash it is easier to steal the whole car than to steal the tires also remove anything from sight in the car if i'm looking to steal a car i want the one chock full o crap in the hopes there might be a laptop under there somewhere as opposed to the empty stock looking one.

on honda's most often see broken lock cylinders and broken trim around upper column a hardened steel-strap with a hinge and hasp to go around column with a welded on cover over the lock cylinder will go along way to stop a thief [use a good padlock like the "master" brand. but if the thief really wants your car they will drag it away with a wrecker with fake signage [and probably stolen plates] alarm systems are almost useless you are in ear shot and can recognize your alarm from everyone Else's my best advise is a 2nd car if you have to go into a bad area on a regular basis drive a reliable junkie old P.O.S. and keep your good car home in the garage or other safe place.

Exact reason why I never bought a Honda Civic, they are the most stolen car out there. An alarm would help. Locking is pointless because they have a slim jim.

The best way to prevent it is to go out and buy the "ugliest da** car" you can find. Nobody will want to steal it then!

They jimmy the lock or break the window.

Have an alarm installed with a immobilizer or kill switch.

Park inside your garage every night.

Don't park anywhere at night.

You can't actually prevent your car from being nicked. Best not to buy a car, use your spouse's.
