Thanks for ya'll who wrote back really quick on my other question- now here's part two! How long should I wait or 'heal' before I have sex, and how long does it take for pain to subside? I've heard of the numbing creams,do they work? And lastly how long does the wax last?

Just a few hours (like 2) for me. The moment the pain is gone it's a go!

If this is your first Brazilian (I remember my first time and oh my god - ouch) then I would give your skin at least a day. My gyno recommended 2 days since our skin is the most sensitive down there then anywhere else on our bodies.
The pain usually subsides within hours. I suggest if you have access to it take a Vicodin (or some other muscle relaxer) before you have your first 2 waxings.
It is a great procedure all my girlfriends have it done - just stick with it and you will have minimal problems in the long run.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Do people actually get PAID to do this to other people? You couldn't pay me $1,000,000 to wax someone's disgusting crotch. Further, why in the name of God would anyone want to go through such pain and embarassment?
Oh yeah, here's my smelly crotch! Take the hair off it willya? Bluch!
