I've bought three things off E-bay, two of them were video games for my little brother (old ones that they don't make anymore) and the third was an overhead projector for $20. E-bay can be a great place to get a good deal on stuff but you have to be careful - if someone rips you off you can report it, and they will probably be banned from selling on the site, but you aren't going to get your money back.

I have bought several video games off of ebay, and also a Sega game gear. I paid something like and average of $15-20 dollars a game for fairly new ones, and the game gear was around $30 after shipping. I think ebay is pretty good site, you just have to make sure all of your bases are covered so you won't get screwed.

Yeah, I buy old tube amplifiers, microphones, harps and books! I also started buying Stevia, a no calorie no carb, sweetener there! I like the site but the shipping ya gotta be careful of, long time ago I bought something, don't remember what, for $0.01 yeah 1 cent but the shipping was $5.95! Live & learn!

I bought so many things off Ebay. It's really quick and easy. Well as for the price it usually depended on what I bought. For example the last thing I bought was the King Kong DVD and it only cost me $1.99 plus shipping.

Ebay is great! I have bought so many things. Once I bought a text book for about $10 ,and after using it I sold it for about $20.

Lots of stuff. Its good to join paypal, and be sure to check the feedback ratings of sellers. Beware of scams from outside of your home country.

Paypal gives you some protection as a buyer.

Read all the fine print and ask questions if you have any. Do not assume anything or you may get burned.

Yes, shouldn't ask details, can't put them in any kind of comparison, I bought an SD-Palm camera for $11, though the label says $90. Usually those discontinued products that you won't find otherwise. Sometimes I underbid, rarely I got it overpriced.

Yes but if its something over 50 dlls I try to buy something I can go see for myself... just be cautious and always use Paypal as a medium to pay... Also be careful when they contact you with a "second opportunity" message after you lost a bid... usually phony messages from people trying to rip you off.
Good luck

Plenty of stuff. Got screwed once by a guy who never delivered but I've bought hundreds of items on the site. I've sold things too; really easy.

When I was pregnant I bought one of those monitors that lets you hear the baby's heartbeat for $10... it was used so it came with no instructions, so I don't know if I was doing something wrong or it just didn't work... but I was never able to hear the heartbeat.
