Could someone please explain to me how to find domain and range in absolute-value problems??

well X Or Domain can be any number its unlimited. but Range or Y >= 0.

if x=-1 y=|6 * (-1)| = |-6| = +6
if x=0 y=|6 * 0 | = |0| = 0
if x=+1 y=|6 *(+1)| = |6|= +6
so you see i chose different numbers ;negative, zero and positive and the result was just positive number and zero.

For domain there is no band. So Domain is unlimited. However Y never would be negative. So the range is: Y>0 or Y=0

Domain is the set of all possible X values.
Range is the set of all possible Y values.

Since Y cannot be negative in your example, the range is {all non negative numbers}

The X value can be anything in this case, ie,{all real numbers}

or x=-y/6
