I would for sure get a hamster because I don't like cats. Hamsters would also be easier to take care of.

Well It depends how much responsibility you are willing to give to the animal! Personally, myself, I'd get the kitten, but that's because I have devotion to it, and have the time to play with it, train it, and buy it new things!

If you aren't home or something like that, then possibly go for the hamster. When you have a hamster, about an hour each night of play time and exercise will be perfect for the little one. Add a big cage and you'll have a very happy, tame pet.

So if you have spare time, get a kitten and train it, give new experience. But if you're on the go and want a cuddly, cute pet, go with the hamster.

Hope this helps! =]

They are both beautiful animals. Hamster only live though between 2-3yrs where a cat can live until 16-20 yrs. I've had hamsters all my life but when they die it's so heartbreakin because of their short life span.
Cats probably will give you more attention.

Both, then I wouldn't have to feed the cat for a while.

Just kidding...

I'd get a cat, but if you want less commitment, then hampster.

A fish. When they die (or you get tired of them) you can flush them down the toilet. Cats and hamsters don't fit.
