Sure thing, I've done plenty of studying on the topic. In a nutshell, an entrepreneur has a spirit that says it will never give up in the quest for his or her dreams. It says that despite everything, he or she will endure until the challenge is realized and the goals achieved. A real entrepreneur is never afraid of hard work and long hours... which is probably their secret to success.

I really like Mike's answer to this. Have you read the book by Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad series) "The Business School"? It's pretty much in a nut shell all about entrepreneurship's spirit. Doing what ever it takes and helping others along the way. It's about reaching your goals and desires. Also check out http://www.thesecret.tv It's an awesome DVD you can purchase that is full of how you can create your own destiny by turning those inner negative thoughts that we were taught growing up into positive energy. It REALLY WORKS... It's totally changed my life around! It's definitely worth getting. The site has other information so read through it before you buy it. I recommend this DVD to everyone in all walks of life. It's guaranteed to change your life! :)
Good luck!

Having an idea that you think will fill a need..you believe that there is a customer that will benefit from your product or service. And making it happen. To know if you are one, you have people asking you why you're doing this- and you can't stop talking about your "business"...you can't sleep because you have all these ideas about how to get people to "buy"...You look for every spare moment to work on your "business". It is hard to balance your work life with your personal life. And, the most gratifying moment is when a customer "gets it" and you know that you're on to something.

In short I would say it is the "drive" people have in owning their own business.
