I don't think you would get arrested, but you might get a ticket. It's not a real good idea to charge for massages if you don't have a license. What if you cause an injury to someone's muscles? It's one thing to massage your partner and/or friends and families, but another to charge people who would expect the massage to be good, and who could possibly sue you if you hurt them.
Have you checked into massage school? My husband is a therapist, and his schooling was quick, easy and not very expensive (of course different states have different regulations for massage therapists). He has been making good money now for 4 years...it was well worth the 3 or 4 months and couple of thousand dollars he spent for schooling.
BTW one of the things he learned about in school was the ways a massage therapist can hurt a person if they don't know what they are doing (and how they can get sued for malpractice). I'd be careful about charging for a massage if you are not a professional!

You cannot charge the public for massages without a license. The license ensures that you know what you're doing, that you've studied the anatomy and technique of giving a massage without causing an injury. I wouldn't worry so much about an arrest as I would about getting privately sued. Beyond that, you'd get a citation and big fat nasty tax bill.

Are you very skilled at it?
And I am sure you can do it but will people want to pay to come to you if you are not certified?
But it is worth a shot.
GOOD LUCK!!!
