I've only been involved for a few days but I would have to say my biggest peeves are those who don't use spell check, the scary questions about sex posted by thirteen-year-olds and the childish questions posted by old and young.
I do appreciate the honest, well thought out answers from some, such as yourself. I guess we could be considered geeks and losers for communicating this way but, hell, this world is so big and full of people I, for one, am happy to have found a way to express myself without fear of censure.

Snow Covered Trees ~
The biggest pet peeve that I have with certain Yahoo Answers enthusiast is, smart educated people take the time out if their days to ask people for their opinions and then you get these certain people (you know who you are) that copy word for word some obscure article that they found on the Internet or some place else and try to pass it off as their own. I think that most of the people out there that are taking the time to ask for your advice or opinion really want it. If people are smart enough to pose a question than in my opinion they would be able to look up on the computer the question at hand. This happens quite a bit over in the sports section of Yahoo Answers particularly the Boxing section. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to ask your question.

My biggest pet peeve are the dumb shits who ask racists, and/or sexually explicit questions..I know that they are done just because the person asking the question is looking to pi$$ everyone off, and it truly is not a question...The people who do not use spell check, are probably just in a hurry..because they want to get their Q/A out there.

biggest pet peeve is for example, someone asks"how come people are so uninformed and the spew falsehoods when they know nothing?" so you proceed to defend against that statement by giving correct websites , like say, the uscis.gov webpage. then that person would still pick up a wrong answer, which wasnt even the right answer, just someone who agreed with her.
i mean , this is yahoo answers, not yahoo opinions, right?
oh and by the way..LOL

I really get irritated when I answer a question honestly and the questioner adds onto his/her question, calling me names, etc. Even had a stalker once, because I told her that she needed parenting classes. (she did) Actually had one woman who told me that she really didn't want advice, she just wanted everyone to feel sorry for her. sigh Some of these people would be better in Yahoo Therapy.
