The first sip is exposed to the bit of air in the bottle which wont ever be as cold as the liquid.

Heat rises. Holding the beer bottle takes some of the warmth from your hand - you carried it to the opener or to your chair or whatever...
And, the neck of the bottle has less liquid in it, so it can warm up faster.

Because in the bottom or lower part of the beer the atoms are all cold and they are closer together. They dont have as much room to move about because they are cold.
