I don't know of any free accounting software, but "Medlin" is really good, suprisingly cheap, and can be downloaded straight to your computer. My CPA uses it and reccomends it highly.

I don't recommend you to use free software.The accountancy is very important for the business.There are few cheap, but in the same time good accounting software that you can buy like QuickBooks Simple Start or Simply Accounting Basic.

You may try Apple one...as far I know they are offering services for small amd medium size enterprises. You must have a 3 or more employees. But you may also check resgarding this company coz I am not updated. They may help you coz they rea trying to compete with other accounting softwares in th US today.
