listen.... i'm a guy and i'm going to H.S. and of course, i'm going to be a freshman. it's not that i'm afraid (i have many of my friends from my previous school) but i'm just wondering will i get bullied, because i'm really short 4"11-5"0 and i get pretty high grades(i was actually valedictorian at my 8th grade graduation)and they will think i'm easy pickings. please tell me if there's a high chance of me getting bullied

its okay i was 5'0 when i started high school. during freshmen year i grew 2 inches. No one picks onyou really if ur short. Im a sophmore now and never have seen anyone get bullied because of height. Just go into school with a positive atittude and try not to get on an upperclass mens nerves. It will be okay. Good luck

USUALLY,
by high school the bullies have moved on to other things. I was bullied mercilessly in Junior High, but High School was a totally different experience for me. Of course, every area is a little different. If I learned anything from that experience, it's that bullies are really the biggest cowards... and if you are bullied, standing up to them almost always scares them off. They are looking for weak prey to make themselves feel stronger... they don't want to have to work for it... so they'll move on to someone else.

Go in with a friendly attitude. The "vibe" that you give off is the attitude you will recieve from others. If you think you're going to get bullied, you will. Be outgoing and make friends with as many of the different "groups" as you can. You'll be fine.

Just hit the weight bench and bulk up a bit. Also, bullies like easy targets. If you push back even just a little bit and let them know that you aren't going to take it, they'll move on and look for someone else to bully.

just be yourself man.......your the one thats going to get the $600,000 job with those grades your getting and then comes all the ladies......Dont be affraid to socialize with anyone.....remember everyone is different. Would you rather be a kid thats 6'6" and can barely fit through a door way?.....I dont think so. Good luck to you and don't worry about all that hyped up BS about bullying. I started high school and the boys are really the only ones at my school that get bullied and in middle school mainy girls were. I am short too 5'1 and make a's and b's mainly a's and i havent gotten bullied.

You WILL get bullied. Best thing to do, is to load a batterie into your first and deck the first guy that messes with you. People will back off and not bully you, and the girls will see you as a tough bad-boy and swoon.

lol how cute well let me tell you this if you stay away from all those immature people then they wont come brother you and you will see a difference in highschool because they have older kids like the seniors and juniors so most of them will be into there studies so nothing to worry about.

If you had been in my highschool, no. But I don't know about yours. Just stay with a group of friends till you feel safer.
