what are the effects of Valium? What would a Valium addict feel or behave? Is it an upper? A downer?
I ask because I'm doing research for a play. The character I play is a valium addict and i want to ge it right. any help will be appreciated!!

Valium is a tranquillizer, don't use it ,you will become an addict.

It's kind of funny that you have internet but need to know if Valium is an upper or a downer. It is easy research. Valium is actually an antianxiety medication. It doesn't so much as make one sleepy, but lessens anxiety. The more you take the less anxious one feels all the way to death. The more one is on Valium the more one is used to it and can take larger amounts. One addicted to Valium would be constantly needing scripts to get more and may doctor shop because one doctor would not give the person as much as he/she needed. The more one uses the less one would need to eat.

Valium is a downer. They would be chilled out all the time, nothing would bother them.

They would look a little tired and depressed

valium's is a downer and an easy way to remember that is all pain pills are downers and good luck with ur play

well i think valium is more of a downer than anything...relaxes you and lets you not feel so bothered about things in your life...
