My Stuffed Monkey My Grandma Sent Me In 1965...

2006-08-26 17:22:33 · answer #1 · answered by DR. HARPOâ„¢ 5 · 1 0

A ring that my dad made in high school. He gave it to me a couple of years ago. That is really valuable to me because he made it with his own hands and I will always remember him by it, even when he is no longer here. Even though it has no real money value, it has a lot of sentimental value.

My grandmother's ring.
It is not her wedding ring.It was what my grandpa gave to her after my mom was born.
It started life out as a necklace, but my mom was a grabber and broke the chain.
My grandpa had the black onyx with a diamond in the center made into a ring for my grandmom.
When I would get to play dressup, my grandmom would let me wear her ring...she died when I was 5.
About 6 years ago, for Christmas,my mom gave it to me...I cried so hard I couldn't see for a few hours after that.
I had the ring woven into my wedding bouquet. My grandmom was with me at the happiest day of my life.
Your question was cool, but you should tell us your possession.

I have a photo album full of pictures from when I was younger and there are tons of my mom in there. She passed away when I was 12 and I was at the age then where I remember her, but I didn't really know her that well. I just knew her as my mom. Hard to explain, but that's the only way to describe it. I have lots of pictures but when I go through them I try to remember what my mom said in them or maybe what she would have said...
Kind of weird, but it's comforting.

I have two.
One is a picture of a cat that used to hang on the wall at my grandmother's house when I was a little girl. It reminds me of a time when I was happy and carefree. It also reminds me of my grandmother, who is one of the most special people in the world to me.

The other is a t-shirt that belonged to my ex-boyfriend who is the love of my life.
