Bilstine Engine Flush call around find the brand it works beat they push warm cleaning solvent Thur the engines oil filter and draw it back out the oil drain plug filter it heat it back up and circulate until the motor is cleaner than before. Use high mileage motor oil when you are done keeping in mind Chevrolet 5.7 L engines will smoke just a bit on start up. Keep track of oil usage not to exceed 1 qt per 700 miles.

Change the oil and filter. Put a can of BG 44K in the fuel tank. That will clean the fuel system. Unless there is a serious problem with your oil pressure from a sludge filled motor, there is nothing else needed!!

OK. here it is. since it is a v8 (probably consumes a lot of fuel), may i suggest you take apart the engine and try to put it back (eyes closed please).some extra parts will appear, (they always put more just in case) and hey, you might just end up with two 4 cylinder engines, (none of them working, too!)congratulations! benefit the environment and use a bicycle.next

Marvell Mystery Oil. put in the oil and run engine according to label instructions. but be ware-- the gunk you clean out of this motor may be the only thing holding it together. good luck and i hope you don"t leave pieces in the drive way.

take it to the car wash, use the tire cleaner selection, which is simple green were we live, that works great, I alway leave the engine running, but that is up to you.
