In some places, yes. Light pollution blocks a lot of stars, and so does smog. I live in North Carolina and have always considered my area to be a beautiful more natural one...Until I went to Hawaii and saw the stars there. I couldn't believe how much prettier they were! It's like they sparkled just for me. I also saw more shooting stars.

No not many places that polluted left in the USA. We are a very big nation, with many places that are so clear you can see to the horizon, sky's are bright at night, and the air is clean.
Where your country has about 22,303,552 people, we have 300 million people, and there are still many places where you can drive for hours without seeing a building.

I think in the cities and towns there is so much artificial light thet you can see the stars its not dark enough if you move to the edge or out of the cities you can see the stars. There are some times when the smog is very thick and it creates a haze that is difficult to see through.

I don't know of any places in the US where you have that level of pollution. Like many countries, the US made a real effort in the 70's to improve on pollution and in many areas, you have a lot of wildlife, especially bays and rivers that used to have lots of pollution.

Depends on where you are. Some places are not polluted but the trees and hills block most of the sky. I am from West Texas where we have the most wonderous night sky.

Only the big cities. If you go out into the country, with no rain, you can touch the universe. It is beautiful at night.
