You should go with Cingular. I really had no problems with them. US Cellular is probably the worst one ever. Verizon is OK, but not awesome, had some dropped calls. Sprint has good coverage but billing issues. Dont' know about T-mobile. I hear it's good, but it's a newer one, so I'd be cautious.

Depends on your location.
Get your friends together with different cell companies and check the signal coverage. Worked well for me.
Lined up all the phones at a party and picked Verizon, as all the best signals were on Verizon. I have 4 phones now on V and the coverage here (93065) is great, and I travel the country and have had no problems.
My Blackberry is on Tmobile and sucks in SoCal

Sprint has reception in 98 of the top 100 cities, while Tmobile has reception in only 48 of the top 100 cities. If you go with Tmobile your getting half the reception.

Sprits basic plans have nights automatically at 9, while giving the option for nights to starting at 6.

Sprint uses CDMA while Tmobile does not.

I would say it should be between Cingular and T-mobile. Since you asked between C and Tmobile I am going to go with T-mobile. I have not met any TM customers who have anything bad to say about their service. Sprint offers more land coverage, after 7pm free mins, better phones. I am a 2yr contract customer w/ Sprint. They are trying to improve w/ customers and service. I hope this helps.

I would go with Verizon Because they are the Nation's most reliable network up to this day and they have some really good cell phones. but if you are the cheap person then I'd rather you go with T-mobile because they do have cheap plans for a lot of minutes and you can roam with their cell phones throught other countries! They also have cheap text messaging plans and very up-to-date cell phones. I'm actually with verizon and they are just perfect for me because I have been with them for the past 6 yrs. and I have had no problems with them as in bills, or service.
