Did Mr. Walt E. Disney ever thought of that before creating them?

The Disney Company is a symbol of family values, isn't it? What explanation do they have for this?

Only plain curiosity of my behalf. Thank you 4 your answers...

We've seen Donald Duck's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie. But we've never seen their father, who would be Donald's brother. What happened to him? Does he exist?

Actually, he doesn't exist. Donald doesn't have a brother.

He does, however, have a sister, who is the mother of his nephews.
The only mention of Donald's sister that we know of is in a 1938 animated short feature entitled 'Donald's Nephews'. In this cartoon Donald gets a postcard from his sister, whose name is Dumbella. She tells him she will be sending her three darling little children, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, for a visit. Donald's nephews show up, and from that point they become a semi-permanent part of Donald's household.

In a later cartoon short ('The New Spirit', 1942), Donald fills out a tax form and lists the nephews as adopted. Perhaps Dumbella couldn't cope with the three of them any more!

peg has given you the best and most accurate answer. I just wanted to mention that it used to be traditional in "the old days" to send male children to live with an uncle during holidays, to teach them "how to be a man" if the mother was raising the children on her own.
So in a way, Walt Disney and Carl Barks were still upholding traditional family values of the time.

I have wondered this even as a very young child and have come to the conclusion that:

Donald was an arsonist and set alight to his sister's home after arguing with her. As it happens, Huey, Dewey and Louie were sleeping at someone Else's house at the time, so they survived. Social services were unaware that the fire was caused by Donald so sent the boys to live with him. Fortunately their childlike, cheerful and mischievous nature relieved Donald of his problem.

See, Donald was in the navy. One day, he was on shore leave, and he knocked up a duck at the Dirty Duck Bad Luck club. She was pole dancing, trying to pay her way through beautician school. Well, the three ducklings were born, and one day she took off to go on tour with the grateful dead.

One day, Donald was called back up to go to somewhere in the seas. Unable to provide for the children at this point, Donald was forced to leave the kids with his rich Uncle Scrooge.

Personally I think that the mother ran off with Daffy Duck and left the kids with Donald.

BTW. Who was the father? Howard?

I thought she and her husband were victims of a terrible "duck l'orange" accident. That made the kids orphans and Donald the good guy for raising them. Sounds like family values to me.

The first cartoon where they appeared mentioned that they were the children of Donald's sister, but then she disappeared, never to be heard from again.
