In order to determine the most physically attractive and unattractive images, we conducted a pilot study with the Advanced Research Methods Psychology class. The students were asked to rank 80 full figure images of males (N = 40) and females (N = 40). The pictures were ranked on a scale of 1 to 10 (1 = extremely unattractive, 5 = moderately attractive, and 10 = extremely attractive). Physical unattractiveness was operationally defined as being unappealing to the opposite sex due to certain physical characteristics deemed undesirable and given a rating of 1 to 4 on the attractiveness scale. Physical attractiveness was defined as being drawn to a person of the opposite sex due to certain physical characteristics that are appealing and a given a rating of 6 or higher on the attractiveness scale. The 12 most attractive males and females and 12 most unattractive males and females were used in this study.

I'm sure there is but then that opens up all new problems for you. You will have that picture and expect the person you fall in love with to look exactly like that. I have always found men with thicker eyebrows attractive (something my best friend pointed out to me) but when it came down to it I am marrying a man who isn't what I thought I would be with as far as physically goes.

Don't worry so much about what the person looks like, but rather how that person treats you. Physical attraction is of course the first thing that you will notice, but physical attraction to a jerk will fall short of attraction to a nice person who may not look exactly what you thought would be what you wanted.
