The world is full of evidence that stretches credibility in the notion that this world came from an accidental, random fusion of gases.
Yahoo answers could easily be a pretty basic interactive computer system, where all the contributors are electronically generated (except for you!).
But people USE Yahoo Answers to deny religion.
I am not a Christian, this is a genuine questions to people on both sides.

I too am Christian; not sure what others will think of this question. Probrably should go under Religions section. Anyways, probrably because the computer can almost guarantee a result depending on what you put in. We KNOW that a computer will produce desired results, while we can't guarantee God's existence. It is only by faith we believe in God. Yahoo Answers has people who know what they're doing and have experience. We generally believe that to be true.

because if what you say about yahoo answers is true, you wouldn't have risked me discovering the "truth" by posting this question, or you wouldn't have posted this question for fear of "us/the electronically generated answerers" finding out you know the "truth" about what was going on. religion is just a lot of people brainwashed into thinking there is a "god" as an explanation to life.

Peter b: It is not just the religion, it is everything - 9/11, the Moon Landings, UFO's and alien abductions. There are people who are making fortunes out of conspiracy theory books and the gullible public swallow every word. It is as if they require some form of belief (or faith) but as 'it' - religion - is not the 'in' thing at the moment, they believe every new theory put to them. Religion is old hat and therefore not 'cool'. I cannot for the life of me understand how anyone can seriously believe in some of the conspiracy theories mentioned. It boggles the imagination...

I dont believe that peeps use Yahoo Answers to deny religion, every1 mostly is searching, askin, differant questions, for their own means.
If u want to find God u hav to look within, and u will find the 'Truth'
and it wont be a 'Yahoo Answer'.

A lot of people have to "see it before they believe it" and have denied seeing God in any physical form, but they can read answers on Yahoo and type responses, so it must be real...

because yahoo is in front of you, u can see it, and pray to it and no it will all ways be there, yahoo is also use able by ever religion!, god, is not in front of you, he doe not answer all your preys, and is not on you PC.
god = 1 person who is none
yahoo= a world wide computer system who is there 24/7 answering ever question asked possible.

I find it extremely eay to believe in God--I believe in His good word. Yahoo answers? They are opinions. Some are good opinions others are just immature bored jerks who like to see what kind of reaction they can get.

Because you must have faith to believe in God since he cannot be seen touched or found. For most that is very difficult to except.
