Like if u showed someone your web cam can they record what u r doing on it?

YES, they can
There are programs that can capture anything on screen whether still images or video.
People get humiliated with cams sometimes. I've seen it happen where a guy posed as a woman to get another guy to do things on cam, and the first recorded it and humiliated the second with it.

Yes they most definately can record a web cam session. So like someone said in a earlier response, hope you didn't do something freaky.
there are loads of software programs just for that purpose, like camatasia studio, PC cam and Moniter watcher among others.

They would have to be able to access your system to control it. Make sure you have a firewall running to keep out people looking for unauthorized access, and check out the security settings in your webcam software, if any, for tips.
