Has anyone heard of the urban legend of 4 corners? Where supposibly if you go down a certain road at night where a school bus accident happened and put baby powder on you car that you will see the hand prints of the kids who died trying to push your car.??? My fiancee told me this and i was wondering if its true. or if you had known where it is supposed to happen?

Yes, I saw a debunking show on it. It supposedly happened at a railroad crossing. There is an optical illusion at play, the road appears flat but is actually sloped, just enough that a car left in neutral will slowly creep forward. The idea of the baby powder is to put it on the rear bumper. As the car rolled forward, weeds would flip up and disturb the powder making it look like tiny little fingers had touched it. It was totally cool watching this happen, because they told the story, showed it happen and you thought you were really witnessing something phenomenal. Then they showed the same thing with different camera angles and you could see what was going on. But it is a wonderful story for the campfire!

Yes I've heard that one, but I heard it happened in San Antonio, TX., not the the Four Corners area.
One man told me he washed his car, sprinkled talcum powder on the back and stopped at that railroad crossing. Soon he felt that his car was trying to move for no apparent reason. When he checked it out there were small palm prints on the back where he had sprinkled the talcum powder. I have no reason to doubt him.

i have heard of this legend. it was at a railroad crossing where a bus full of school kids were hit by a train. the kids will do what they can to make sure this does not happen again.
