Good question. I haven't been impressed with McGahee, so I'd go with Cadillac Williams v. Baltimore.

Arizona still lacks a good D, no one knows how Mcgahee will do this year (supposed to be a sleeper, like he was last year.) And Baltimore is still a killer D. I would say Gore and see how he performs and if you wish to keep him for later in the year.

Start Gore...He's the key to san francisco success. The niners have to establish the run in order for alex smith passing game to get started. if anything thing, he'll get alot of touches since barlow is now a jet. arizona doesn't have a great defense so , gore should have a decent game. he comes from a great running school (miami) so points and yardage should be plenty.

Mcgahee is the choice. NE defense is good, but worse than Balt. Gore, while exciting to see what he will do, is unproven, in an unproven offense, on the road.

I like mcgahee at NE...and i am a pats fan........Pats D was not strong last year and need to prove to me that it can stiop the run....danger is that in a blow our Mcgahee gets no carries...gore is my second choice

I'd say Gore. Barlow is gone, Smith will need a weapon, and Gore is ready to go.
