Indians are so morbidly obsess with mutilating those noble birds eagle, hawks, and owls who are the only thing in the wild who will befriend a human. A morbid Indian should not be alowed to identify with the noble birds they mutilate them there is no religion or honnor it is just a sick mayhamist killing a noted and respected bird that all of the rest of the world respects until it gets to a sick rotten indian who wants to kill these international migratory symbols. I dont want a indian to even draw a picture of bird it may incouarge its sick behavior response to mutilate one.

i dont know where you get your info.but ive never hurt any bird.nor do i know of any indian in the tribes that im apart of(cherokee, choctaw).but there is a old custom where the brave goes out baits a site and digs a hole to hide in.when a eagle or big bird flying over head swoops down on the bait the brave reaches out of his hiding place and plucks a few tail feathers.sometimes the brave would come back with a injured hand where the big bird plucked some flesh(even trade kind of).anyway the feathers were a very valuable and used for many things.and the bird lived to grow more tail feathers.Native Americans would not do anything like what you say.we try to protect mother earth and we only killed animals for food and to survive.

Of all the birds that COULD have been the national symbol... Benjamine Franklin wanted to make it the Turkey... the founding fathers in their moment of questionable wisdom, made the Bald Eagle the national symbol.

Let's see... it's a predator and a coward that picks on weaker birds. it's a nest robber. It violates and takes over the territory of weaker birds that can't defend their land and turf. It's ill tempered.... in fact, it's just a plain BAD bird and nearly worthless.

WAIT... NOW I SEE WHY IT'S THE NATIONAL SYMBOL.... of course... IT'S JUST FITTING as the symbol for a country like America

They may be arrested for killing an Eagle or another endangered species, but freedom of speech protects them from being prosecuted for drawing or mutilating an image.

how do you stop non-native americans from mutilating everything in this nation? Befouling the air and water, cutting down forests, killing all kinds of wildlife (including eagles, hawks, and owls), and poisoning the earth?

You know it cost 5 points to ask questions. It seems that you don't care that you are waisting your points. As you can see by the answers you are getting that your question is not a good one.
