And why do you think it's better?

Football is better because the games get over-with faster and the games are usually a fight to the end. What's better than seeing someone get their head knocked off? Baseball is a fun sport though.

Football

Baseball. It's a game you ride out for the long run. It's a long season. Football you have to be a violent athlete. Baseball you have to have skill combined with athleticism. For the most part the players are more level headed and in a more mental state of mind. Just watch an interview with somelike like Greg Maddux and compare it to an interview with Terrell Owens. Night and day.

You can take a look at the fan base of football and compare it to baseball. Look at all the fights that break out among fans at football games. Ever see that at a baseball game?

They are both great sports. I love my Red Sox and my Patriots.

Summer is Baseball season and
Winter is for Football.

They both keep me going all year long.

As for Mimi saying baseball is too long. People that say this don't know baseball. Some games might end sooner than the average football game, and some games end longer. However, I believe the average baseball game is about the same as the average football game (about 3 hrs and 30 mins long).

Also people that say Baseball is boring should not be watching sports.

Baseball, for the strategy and mental complexity.
Baseball, for it's mix of intricacy, and simplicity
Baseball for the time of year it is played.
Baseball, for spring training.
Baseball for the moments of excitement.
Baseball, for the pace, which let's us enjoy conversations during (and about) the game.
Baseball, because it has no clock.
Baseball, for the fact that after over 120 years, we STILL see things that have never happened before.
Baseball, for the richness of heritage.

Does ANYONE in football history compare to Babe Ruth (World Famous Icon), Jackie Robinson (The beginning of the END of segregation), Ted Williams (A Freaking war hero, TWICE over)?

Baseball, because at the end of the day, all you really want to do is go home.

I have loved baseball since I was a small kid and love the history of the game. I also love college football, the traditions, the fan excitement and the rivalries. With me it depends on the season!

Football hands down.

I say football because each game is exciting because there's only 16 of them (in the NFL) and each game usually means something. In baseball there are just too many games.
