how do you pierce your own body without it being rejecting it?

I don't trust other people piercing my body, so I like to do it myself. I want to do my bellybutton so how much skin do use, where do I pierce it what do I have to do? Send me the answers PLEASE!!

First of all, use a barbell, rings get infected because theyre exposed. the whole process takes less than 2 mins,you feel a burning/stinging sensation at the very end for like 10 minutes.

the process:
1) buy the barbell
2) mark the area with ink to make sure it is aligned properly
3) clean the area with iodine
4) Use ice, if you want, it doesnt do much.
5) you lie down on your back.
6) breathe... and stick a 3-4 inch needle through your skin and put a cork on the end
7) pull the jewelry through and secure it
8) clean with iodine again, do that 2 or 3 times a day every day forever so it will never get infected.

I reccomend that if the real reason youre doing it yourself is that your parents wont let you, do it while no ones home. Just in case you scream.

really when you want information such as this, it's better to search for the answers yourself. More likely than not your going to mess it up and it will likely reject because your not going to have the proper tools or be in a position to do the piercing. I again advise against this but atleast you'll have SOME idea of what your doing-I do not oppose self piercing but I do expect if your going to do it you do it correctly and learn as much as you can before doing so.

Why do you not trust people? The bellybutton is the one piercing that has the most problems. It is not safe to do it yourself. You can get an infection. You can not see this area very good, and you will definitely mess it up worse then someone who has been doing this as their living. Please do not do it yourself!

If you have to ask this question - you should NOT do it yourself. If a professional is too expensive, then don't do it and get your priorities in line. You can make yourself EXTREMELY sick, and a bad infection can lead to amputation, kidney failure, it can also kill you. Piercing is not worth your life.
