Please follow the steps given below to resolve the issue.: 1>In Windows XP, click Start and then right-click My Computer. 2>In Windows XP, select Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click the Device Manager button . 3Click the plus sign next to Network Adapters, and then double-click the name of the network adapter. 4>Click the Power Management tab, and remove the checkmark from Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby. 5>Click OK, close the windows that are open, and then restart the computer. 6>Use the computer's Suspend/Standby feature to see the problem still exists. If it does, go to the next Step. 7>Disconnect all non-essential connected devices, (printers, scanners, USB drives). 8>Restart the PC with only the original mouse, monitor, and keyboard connected.

Do you have a time set for your computer to go to screen saver? If you don't know, right-click onto the monitor [no icon] and you will get a small pop-up with a short list of stuff. Click onto options, then check out your times - you can change them to whatever you want.
