I found a mistake in the Gorillaz lyric!?

In the song [or narration] "Fire coming out of the monkeys head" the last part says "[...]it could be heard far away in space[..]"
I mean... sound cannot propagate in space, there's no way that could happen. Is there something else hidden?

i think that was the point of it "can be heard far away in space", saying thats its so great and powerful it would be heard
