yes, nothing is as accurate as the blood test, and hpt are more accurate around two weeks after missing but can be accurate very early on. Also room for human error in not performing the test correctly.

I sure hope so cause I'm going through the same thing myself. I am over a week late and have taken 3 HPT's and all neg. I'm going to the doctor on Thursday cause I can't stand this agony of not knowing for sure. I'm even testing in the morning when they say your levels of the pregnancy hormone are higher. Have you tired this? Hope everything works out for you and me both. Let me know what happens.

Yes.. HPT's are not infalable.. If you are only a bit late (less than a week) relax and try another test in a few days. If you are more than a week late make a gyno appointment and have them run a test.

You better believe it. Some women do not produce enough of the human growth hormone for it to read on a urine test.

Your best bet if you have tested and are late is to go ahead and insist on blood testing from your local doctor.

Sure thing! If it is still early then a hospital blood test is a surefire way to know. Alternatively, you could just be late and stressing about it will only hold it off more!

If certain hormones in your body are low it can happen. If you are trying to conceive then go to your Dr and he can give you the necessary hormone.
