Steven Burns has released a solo album and is considered an indy-rocker of some critical acclaim. He toured with and opened for The Flaming Lips during thier 2003 world tour. Catch www.steveswebpage.com if you'd like to hear the album. A new album is in the works.

He thought it was time to move on. He grew up as one basically said they hoped he had done. So they made the story that he went to college, which wouldn't have been their for awhile now. OK I don't watch the show but I am sick of these people who are saying that rumors are the truth. No he wasn't on drugs and going to rehab. He didn't die. Not sure if he went bald or not but really don't care and I do know that wasn't why he left. I know from reading entertainment section of the paper and such.

Steve got into trouble years ago when he left the show. I don't know if he became bald of was on drugs, but I do remember a special when Steve came to visit and he was wearing top hat. That might have been to cover up his bald head.
By the way, Joe, the new guy, is not really Steve's brother.

he didn't go to rehab, it was a stupid rumor. He wanted to find more opportunities, and didn't want to be Steve-from blues clues, the rest of his life.

On the show they say he went off to college. I read it in a magazine that he overdosed on drugs

he came out in a Violante movie and parents didn't want him to come out in blues clues so they had to let him go that's what i heard

He lost his hair!! I just saw a "THS" special about him on "E!". He was on drugs. Although, the show said he "Went to College" when he was really in Rehab. Steve's bald!!!
