i'm drawing a picture of a danelion gone to seed already in the air...meaning its not in the ground still...its blowing in the wind...what would be a good background for this.....could i add something to it to make it more unique..or..different...i am not sure of what else to do...its for my art class...

use a metropolitan or cityscape background. it would show irony, you know a dandelion in the city that ready to seed but no where to seed.

Another option, if you want to keep it in a nature theme, is to have clouds in the pattern of the blowing seeds in the background.

The significance of dandelions in modern culture is that they can only sprout where the soil has already been tilled. In other words, they rely on us to help them propagate. I would use a garden background or a field of food crops.

make a night sky background, moon and dark clouds, the seeds glittering in the moonlight and flying away in the direction of the moon :)

Sparkle some silver dust on it . So it like can look like it is spreading little seedlings along!

I also like the city idea. I was also thinking maybe like it just being in outer space would be neat.
