Well, they aren't comic book heros, just cartoon characters, but I'd vote
Mayor Joe Quimby from the Simpsons for Vice President, and Mayor Adam West from Family Guy for President! What a team! Hey, if they can run their respective cities, think of them running the country together! So funny! haha

Bush and Cheny reminds me of Chicken Hawk and Foghorn Leghorn. Remember them?
Chicken Hawk is George Bush and Dick Cheny is really Foghorn Leghorn, a chicken who manages to outmanuver Chicken Hawk at every turn.
I suppose this time around we need Felix the Cat with his bag of tricks and Popeye the sailor man to beat up on Brutus.
Bush and Cheny could form their own cartoon after they leave office.
