from what i understand it was. and that creep me out. it seemed like it was real, just like you know editied or whatever but was it really their real footage and all?

well the way they filmed the Blair witch was they gave the actors the camera so yes they filmed it themselves and they didn't have a script really they would find like a bucket and it would have their plot outline so they just went with it

Yes it was real footage, but footage of what???? You saw thru the camera lens and seen shadows and close ups of some idiots breathing heavy and speaking four letter words. It was just a film to bring out your innermost thoughts and fantasies. Oh yeah, they got lost and kept winding up in the same place. Hell I have done that even without any Blair Witch.

The first movie of the Blair Witch Project was supposidly the "real" footage. But the second was just a regular "made up" movie.

No, it wasn't a documentary if that is what your asking. It was a low-budget, Indie film. The people you see in the movie are actors. As was said before, they were told basically what they wanted out of a certain scene and they just ad-libbed. No scripts. It was a neat new concept. I think they did a pretty good job.
