Actually, no I did not think the Village was scary except for that one part where the creature was chasing the blind girl and we find out that it was someone else, (do not want to ruin it for people who have not seen it). I really enjoy that movie because it really speaks the truth. I loved the ending but was kind of irritated as well. M. Night Shymalin is one of my favorite directors!

How previous is your brother? by using assessment to maximum horror movies, The Village is tame. inspite of the undeniable fact that, being prepared on M. night's and having enjoyed this action picture, I went out and offered it. Like yet another responder mentioned, there are basically a pair extremely frightening moments (like while the lady, Ivy Walker, is interior the woods).

I thought it was very scary and I loved it. It, to me was one of those movies like "Signs". The point you think the movie is tryig to make has almost nothing to do with what's actually going on...it's a statement on how we get so involved in the surface of things that we lose sight of what is right in front of us that really matters,.

So I liked it for that reason. The creatures scared the doo doo out of me.

The mysterious creatures where scary to me. If I had really lived there I would have been terrified all the time especially at night. It was scary when the girl was by herself in the woods.

The part where the "Creatures" first come into the town is somewhat scary, but the rest of the movie isn't really.

the first time i watched it i thought it was scary...cuz i didnt know what was going on nor did I know what was gonna happen..but after you figure out who is doing the "attacks" and that those monster things arent real..it kinda ruins the scariness..but i still like the movie

No, to me it was more suspensful. Not really my thing. For scary try Jeepers Creepers and all of the Final Destinations have quite the gore with them.

not scary but not a brilliant movie either, and i usually enjoy m.night's movies, the essence of the story was good but it all got a bit silly, tho it is very interesting to think that maybe little places like this actually exist around the world...........

I think it's plainly bad and boring! I've always hated Shamalan. I got bored on 6th sense, despised Unbreakable, disbelieve Signals and now this Village... I'll never see one of his movies again.
