I am Latino, my partner is Italian, i have dated many other races including black guys, but i refused to date muslim, or Asian men, simply because i was told from a young age they are bad, has anyone else grown up with something they were told and still believe to this day? do those beliefs still play an important part in your life today?.

That's stereotype that you really shouldn't buy into. In fact, you should close your mind to ANY stereotype! Men are men, and there will be and are good and bad in every race.

Just a question though - if you currently HAVE a partner, why are you thinking about who you refuse to date? Why not just focus on the partner you have right now?

Hey, have any of you dated muslim men...I'm engaged to one and no they are not domineering. Men will be men regardless of religion. Obviously you have to chose one that will respect you, cherish you, and love you. We've been dating for a year and its been great...we've had our ups and downs like any relationship but nothing out of the ordinary. I mean there human just like me and you and you cant generalize or stereotype anyone. Now i was raised being told all muslims are bad too...so i decided to find out for myself. I have alot of muslim friends who are asian and arabs. There is nothing inhumane or strange about them. I was also told that anglo-americans are all racist...i have alot of anglo american friends who are not racist at all. Again you cant overgeneralize people and try to put on this one size fits all label that isnt true. My best advice is...there is no better way to see things than to see it yourself.

Even growing up with a racist dad I made my own choices even as a child and I judge each person on who they are and not what race they are. I have met good and bad in all races.

You are right muslims are bad men that only want to dominate and terminate women. Exploit women and abuse them. Asian men are barely men with micropenises and big egoes. Avoid them they will just bore you.

i grow up with a racist dad and heard what he had to say about certain races he doesn't like but thankfully i grow up into my own individual person with my own beliefs. Its sad that you dont get to have your own beliefs about those races just because you believed someone elses views.

Yes....if you're born Asian or Muslim, you are automatically bad......there's no way around it.....seeing how you can choose your ethnicity before you're born, I don't understand why they choose to be Asian and Muslim.......stay away from EVERY SINGLE ASIAN AND MUSLIM...there's over one billion of them, and they are ALL EXACTLY THE SAME...........read a book....
