why do some girls & women, wear tight clothing that does the opposite of attracting males?

Isn't it rather self-defeating, to have gobs of chubbieness hanging out where it should not be flaunted ? To some of us males, we shudder at the sight, simply because it makes us nauscious & extremely queasy,...

Oh I'm quite sympathetic, as i used to weigh about 473 lbs. myself - about 8 years ago.

I got sick of seeing myself every day, so I gave in and bought a bowflex. It took a long long looonnngg time, but I'm better now, and i still have a little self indulgence with the goodies - in moderation. I'm not ready to give up the little things that makes living worth - living my life a little better.

At least I can run a 5 minute mile like I used to when I was in school, and I don't leave foot prints that someone might mistake as sinkholes.

Some of them do this so they will be forced to diet. It's pretty courageous really albeit very masochistic. I had a cousin who gained eighty pounds in pregnancy and only lost 28 after delivery. She only bought slightly larger sizes of her old skimpy outfits and wore them everywhere. People's look of disgust drove her to the gym and the Atkin's diet. She was back in shape after 8 months.

Other women are just delusional, lack shame or in denial

That is such a good question? I can't stand the thought of wearing something that only highlights and draws attention to any possible 'trouble spots'. I start to think that either some girls are getting dressed in the dark, or they just think that having 'belly hang over' is attractive. This is what the more mature population needs to inform the younger population about: FOUNDATION GARMENTS! They are made to hold you in, flatten out the flab, smooth out curves and all around help shape your body under your clothing. There is tons of shapewear out there, that is pretty, flattering, and for all types of shapes and sizes of women of all ages. I can't say why some girls and women pay no mind to having their extraness hang out for the world to cringe at, but yes, it is self-defeating, unfashionable, unatractive, and just shows that those people have no true idea of what looks good.

I think some women just cannot find the proper size clothing, and therefore end up wearing clothes that are too small for them. Another possibility is that they honestly think it does look good even though it really looks awful.

Some people just don't know how bad they look because honestly, if they knew they looked as bad as you say they do, they wouldn't wear that stuff. And some women just don't care. Guys and society in general has put an extreme emphasis on the way we look and the way we dress. So chubby girls probably just wear it because society says it's awesome and they just don't know that they don't look good in it.

Seems as though Ive seen a few pale,plump men wandering about the beach with oh so inapropriate speedos....and hairy backs.

I like wearing tight clothes because it's comfortable for me..and lucky me I don't have globs sticking out.

Because they are afraid to go one or two sizes when they shop for clothes. So they force themselves into tiny articles of clothing, thus proving to themselves that they have'nt gained any weight.

i guess its the need to want to be able to wear the cute clothes that skinny people wear. i myself have the opposite problem i tend to buy clothes that are to big to hide tiny imperfections that nobody else seems to be able to see but me
